Supporting local farmers and business owners can limit the hidden environmental impact of our daily purchases.
- Every Saturday from 7 AM to 12 Noon a farmers market is held in downtown Sarasota on Lemon Avenue from First Street to Pineapple Avenue. Local produce is also available through
Jessica’s Organic Farm off N. Lockwood Ridge and through the Whole Foods Sunday farmers market.

Worden Farm is a 55-acre organic farm in Punta Gorda that sells produce at the Sarasota Saturday farmers market. Shares are available seasonally as a Community Supported Agriculture system.
