Sarasota County on the Gulf coast of Florida, with its communities of Sarasota, Venice, North Port, and Longboat Key, is blessed with natural beauty and a high quality of life. Maintaining our community as a wonderful place to live and work will depend on our willingness to preserve our natural resources and our ability to transition to a more sustainable economy. Global warming jeopardizes all of this.

Sarasota Network for Climate Action promotes action to stop global warming. This is not something we can leave to others; local action is an important part of global climate protection.
